Teresa Maria Ribeiro da Silva Brandão

Professor(a) Auxiliar Convidado(a)

Teresa Brandão licenciou-se em Engenharia Química pela Faculdade de Engenharia / Universidade do Porto em 1990. Concluiu a parte curricular do Mestrado em Ciência e Tecnologia Alimentar na ESB-UCP, em 1992. Obteve o grau de Doutoramento em Biotecnologia com especialização em Ciência e Engenharia Alimentar na ESB-UCP, em 2004. Durante o seu programa de doutoramento, obteve cursos de pós-graduação em análise de dados e design experimental na Universidade da Califórnia, Davis, EUA.
Os seus interesses de investigação centram-se em processos térmicos e suaves não térmicos de alimentos, abordando características de qualidade e segurança e exploração de compostos bioactivos e nutritivos de partes residuais de frutos, procurando o desenvolvimento de novas estratégias para acrescentar valor aos resíduos de frutos. Actualmente é investigadora na CBQF.
