Doutorado em Biotecnologia em 2006, pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Consultor em Engenharia Alimentar, é responsável por coordenar projetos de I&DT financiados pelo programa QREN. Exerce funções de auditor de Higiene e Segurança Alimentar e é coordenador de Higiene e Segurança Alimentar no Centro Hospitalar de São João Também trabalha como consultor e coordenador de projetos de investigação que envolvem planeamento e delineamento experimental e tratamento estatístico. Tem mais de 10 anos de experiência de docência na área de Estatística.
