Luisa Freitas dos Santos, alumna da Escola Superior de Biotecnologia da Universidade Católica, recebeu a maior distinção que um engenheiro pode receber no Reino Unido: foi convidada para Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. Com mais de 20 anos de experiência na área de desenvolvimento de fármacos, Luisa Freitas dos Santos já liderou oito grupos diferentes de I&D em cinco países e desenvolveu investigação multidisciplinar de elevado impacto tanto na GlaxoSmithKline – onde é vice-presidente global de R&D Clinical Supply Chain – como em todo o setor.

Alumni of the Faculty of Biotechnology named Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering
Luisa Freitas dos Santos, alumni of the Faculty of Biotechnology, was named Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering. According with the website of the Royal Academy of Engineering “Luisa Freitas dos Santos is an industry-leading chemical engineer with over 23 years’ experience in pharmaceutical drug development including process chemistry, particle sciences, process engineering, analytical sciences, discovery and clinical supply chain. She has led eight different R&D groups in five countries delivering multidisciplinary research with high impact both within GSK and across the sector.”
