Faculty of Biotechnology takes part in international conference on sustainability in education

The Faculty of Biotechnology took part in the debate at the Final Conference on Capacity Building to Address Sustainable Development at Master’s Courses in Armenia and Europe, held on 18–19 February in Yerevan, Armenia. Organized within the framework of the international T-Green Project, the event focused on strategies to integrate sustainability into master’s programs across Europe and Armenia.

The Faculty of Biotechnology’s presentation highlighted the institution’s contribution to developing innovative approaches in higher education, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. The project was coordinated at the Faculty by lecturer Eduardo Cardoso, who has guided the team in implementing sustainability-focused methodologies and academic content.

The T-Green Project brings together several European and Armenian institutions with the shared goal of promoting the transition to more sustainable educational models, enhancing technical, pedagogical, and scientific capacities. The Faculty’s participation underscores its commitment to training professionals equipped to tackle today’s environmental, social, and economic challenges.
