PUBLIC NOTICE FOR AN INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR APPLICATIONS FOR THE POST OF DOCTORAL RESEARCHER
The Rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Prof. Dr. Isabel Capeloa Gil, hereby announces the opening of an international call for applications for one vacancy of doctoral researcher assistant, with an exclusivity clause, to perform duties of scientific research, in the scientific field of Medical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering – 3D Printing. The research activities will be carried out within the scope of the Non-Academic Chair, Paralab Chair in 3D printing, integrated at the Centro de Biotecnologia e Química Fina (CBQF), integrated in the Escola Superior de Biotecnologia of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Porto and the company Paralab Equipamentos Industriais e de Laboratório, SA, within the framework of the FCT-Tenure first edition call by the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P. (FCT,IP), and its call procedure (articles 17, 19 and 28 of the Regulamento do Emprego Científico – REC).

Doctoral researcher assistant
Admission requirements
a) Holders of a Doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering and regenerative Medicine or a closely related field, with a strong emphasis on 3D printing technologies.
b) Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in Biomedical Engineering and regenerative Medicine or a closely related field, with a strong emphasis on 3D printing technologies.
c) Experience in the design, development, and testing of novel biomaterials for 3D Printing (ink/bioinks), expressed by an h-index of no less than 12 in the Scopus bibliometric system, with at least 1 publication as last author and at least 10 publications indexed to Web of Science on 3D Printing and Regenerative Medicine.*
