Palestrante: Prof. Dr. Sebahattin NAS

Sebahattin NAS was born in Trabzon at 1960. He was graduated from University of Atatürk, Department of Food Engineering at 1984. He got his master degree at 1987 from the same university. During his PhD he interested on production, standardization and increasing the quality of tea. He completed his PhD studies in 1993 with the dissertation of "Research on standardization of tea production". Especially he contributed to the standardization and preparation of regulations on tea and tea technology in Turkey. After his PhD he started to give lectures on Fruit-Vegetable Science and Technology, Food Chemistry and Tea Technology. In 1995, he was assigned as Head of Department of Food Engineering of University of Pamukkale.  Since then, he has been working at University of Pamukkale in different positions. In between 2000-2003 Vice Dean of Engineering Faculty, 2003-2007 Dean of Engineering Faculty.
