ECOTROPHELIA Portugal 2024: Finalists Showcase Talent and Innovation

Among the finalists, the project "Trinca Espinhas" stands out, developed by a group of students from the Master's in Food Engineering at the Faculty of Biotechnology (ESB) of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Porto. This project exemplifies the innovation and sustainability that ESB promotes in its study programs and research.

ESB's partners have played a crucial role in supporting initiatives like ECOTROPHELIA, fostering collaboration between academia and industry. This partnership is essential for developing innovative and sustainable solutions in the agri-food sector, making it more competitive and prepared for the challenges of the global market.

In total, eight finalist projects will present their proposals, demonstrating the talent and disruptive capacity of the young participants. These projects reflect a continuous effort to make the national agri-food sector more sustainable and efficient.
