More than 25 experiments with microorganisms, dozens of researchers and laboratory equipment and an outdoor space. This will be the setting for yet another International Microorganism Day Exhibition, organized by the Faculty of Biotechnology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, on the 15th of September, between 9.30 am and 5 pm, on the Porto campus. A free initiative aimed at primary and secondary school students.
During one day, students will have the opportunity to participate in more than 25 experiences such as: Biomaterials in the fight against chronic wounds; Molecular Gastronomy: the good microorganisms at your table; Microorganisms clean wastewater; Microalgae; Circular Kombucha, among others.
