Pedro has a PhD in Food Consumption and Nutrition Sciences in 2015 (FCUP/FCNAUP) and a degree in Nutrition Sciences from FCNAUP. He’s Assistant Professor at the ESB-UCP since 2016. From 2009 to 2017 he was nutritionist at FC Porto and is also invited assistant professor at ISMAI.
He Is the author of the articles "Food Dictionary" and "Nutrition Myths" in Público, and has 4 published books: "50 Portuguese Super Foods" in 2012, "Myths we Eat" in 2016, "Eat, Grow, Train” in 2018, and "The New Myths we Eat" in 2021. He is currently a nutritional consultant at SONAE and Leixões SC and clinical nutritionist in two medical clinics.
