The Faculty of Biotechnology (ESB) of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa recently welcomed a group of final-year students from ISNAB – Institut des Sciences de la Nature et de l’Agroalimentaire de Bordeaux.
These future agri-food managers chose Portugal for a study visit aimed at discovering leading academic and industrial institutions, gaining insights into research and development projects, and engaging in international networking opportunities.
During their visit to ESB, the students explored various ongoing research initiatives, with a particular focus on food engineering as well as projects related to wine and bioactives. The programme also included moments of dialogue with faculty members and researchers, fostering a rich exchange of experiences and offering an in-depth perspective on the research landscape in Portugal.
This initiative reinforces ESB’s role as a hub for education, innovation, and international collaboration in food science and technology.
