Bio
Has a B.Sc. degree in Bioengineering from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and both a M.Sc. and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Porto. She is an Invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Biotechnology of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (ESB-UCP) and a researcher at the Research Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry (CBQF-UCP), Porto, Portugal. Her research is focused on the simulation of biological processes using numerical methods, data processing, and artificial intelligence applied to various fields, with a special emphasis on neurodegenerative diseases and pattern recognition in biomedical signals.
