Maria de Fátima Moreira Balio da Silva
Graduated in Chemistry - Scientific area (1988) by Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto and post-graduated in Food Safety (2001) by Escola Superior de Biotecnologia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Lecturer at the Escola Superior de Biotecnologia (practical component of Chemistry, Good Chemistry Laboratory Practices). Laboratory Supervisor (Food Chemistry Laboratory of CINATE) since 2013. Expertise in metals analysis in food and packaging matrices by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry. Also developed an extensive activity in food shelf-life studies, being responsible for planning, coordinating the execution and analyzing the results of chemical and nutritional tests on foods.
