Escola Superior de Biotecnologia (ESB) and the Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry (CBQF) of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa have had the DeepTech Transfer project approved, with the goal of promoting technology transfer and developing interaction channels between academia and industry.

This project aims to implement knowledge transfer methodologies that facilitate value creation, the pre-commercial validation of knowledge-based technologies, and the strengthening of relationships with different stakeholders within the innovation ecosystem.

Approved under the Compete Programme, the project will run for 24 months, from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2027.
