Inês Tomada holds a PhD in Metabolism, Clinical and Experimentation from the Faculty of Medicine of University of Porto (2013), a Master's degree in Clinical Nutrition (2008) and a degree in Nutritional Sciences (2001), both from Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of University of Porto. In 2021, she got the title of Specialist in Clinical Nutrition by Portuguese Nutritionists Association.
She is Assistant Professor at the Catholic University of Portugal (since 2009), where she lectures Paediatric Nutrition, Nutrition and Pathology, Nutritional Assessment and Introduction to Nutrition and Dietetics.
She has more than one hundred communications at national and international scientific meetings and more than two dozen full-length publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is responsible for guiding students in pre- and post-graduate training.
Inês Tomada works in Clinical Nutrition, particularly dedicated to nutrition of the women, child and adolescent in private clinics and hospital of the north of Portugal.
