The Faculty of Biotechnology Universidade Católica Portuguesa - Porto, (ESB) is gearing up to host the national finals of the XVIII Biotechnology Olympics. Organized in partnership with the Portuguese Society of Biotechnology, the event is aimed at high school students and aims to promote scientific and technological culture, as well as to spark interest in biotechnology.

Scheduled for May 17th, from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm, this event will be the highlight of a competition that includes two local rounds. The national finals will offer participating students the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in biotechnology, in a challenging and stimulating environment.

The Biotechnology Olympics aim to raise awareness among young people about the importance of this area of study and research, while promoting activities on a national scale. ESB looks forward to hosting this event and the participating students from across the country.

This national final will not only be an intellectual competition, but also a celebration of the talent and dedication of young students interested in biotechnology.
