Biomaterials and Biomedical Technology Group participates in the 8th China-Europe Symposium on Biomaterials in Regenerative Medicine

The Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry’s (CBQF) Biomaterials and Biomedical Technology Group, part of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), proudly participated in the prestigious 8th China-Europe Symposium on Biomaterials in Regenerative Medicine.

The event took place in Nuremberg, Germany, from September 15 to 18, 2024, and brought together leading experts from across the globe to discuss the latest advancements in biomaterials and regenerative medicine.

Four distinguished members of CBQF group - Viviana Ribeiro, Beatriz Bernardes, Marta Duarte and Inês Vasconcelos - were selected to deliver oral presentations, highlighting the cutting-edge research being conducted within the group. Their presentations showcased the innovative work being carried out at CBQF in areas such as biomaterials development, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine technologies.

The selection of these researchers to present at such an esteemed international conference underscores the high-quality research and pioneering advancements of the CBQF’s Biomaterials and Biomedical Technology Group. Their participation not only contributes to the global conversation on biomaterials but also strengthens CBQF’s reputation as a key player in the field of regenerative medicine.
