The ReCROP project aims to enhance the sustainability and resilience of Mediterranean agricultural systems by preserving and improving the quality and fertility of agricultural soils. This goal is pursued through an integrated approach that combines biotechnological innovations, such as microbial inoculants, including plant growth-promoting bacteria and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, with environmentally friendly agronomic practices. These practices include the application of organic and inorganic soil amendments, the implementation of innovative cropping systems, and the use of locally adapted or stress-tolerant crop varieties.
Aim of the event | Share the project accomplishments and, through the presence of specialized researchers and relevant stakeholders, open the discussion about the implementation of alternative agricultural practices.
Date and Venue | 29.04.2025 - 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (WET), Escola Superior de Biotecnologia, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Porto, Portugal.
