On 4 March, at 4:00 p.m., in Room EBI023, the Ecotrophelia Competition Presentation will take place.
ECOTROPHELIA Portugal is the Portuguese Competition for the Creation of Eco-Innovative Food Products – The Student Awards of Food Innovation.
The Ecotrophelia Award aims to promote innovation, competitiveness and entrepreneurship in the European agri-food sector through the organisation of national and European food innovation competitions, as well as through the development of a network of excellence in food innovation training.
In Portugal, Ecotrophelia is organised by PortugalFoods and FIPA - Federação das Indústrias Agro-Alimentares.
In 2025, the Ecotrophelia Portugal Award was won by a team from the Faculty of Biotechnology with the project Snack-a-tummy, which represented Portugal at Ecotrophelia Europe, held in Germany.
Participation is free of charge.
