PhD student in Sociology at the University of Coimbra. Master in Social Psychology and degree in Psychology from the University of Porto.
Sónia Dantas is a guest lecturer at the Institute of Health Sciences and at the School of Biotechnology of the Catholic University, where she teaches subjects in the area of Social Sciences. She is also a guest lecturer at Universidade Portucalense.
She lectured at ISCET and collaborated with UIITT - Innovation and Technology Transfer Unit in R&D activities at INESCPORTO - Associated Laboratory as a trainer in BNML - [ Business] Narrative Modeling Language in Qualitative Research, where she supervised students in projects, monographs and dissertation theses.
Her research interests focus on the sociology of food and health and social intervention and health.
She also works as a psychologist and psychodramatist in a private practice, where she assists clients with health issues, namely eating disorders.
She also collaborates, as a psychologist, in a Residential Structure for the Elderly.
