Inês Ramos holds a PhD in Biotechnology (specializing in Food Science and Technology) from the Portuguese Catholic University and a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Porto (FEUP). She is a guest assistant professor at Escola Superior de Biotecnologia-UCP, where she teaches the disciplines of Introduction to Bioprocessual Engineering and Food Technologies. Her research specialization area regards drying modelling and simulation, transport phenomena, microstructure, and physical-chemical properties. Her current interests focus on the reduction of food waste, sustainable drying, and climate action. Inês Ramos took part in 3 international research projects, 2 national projects, and participated in various international conferences and 2 organizing committees. She directed and co-directed several master's theses, being co-author of 14 scientific publications that are internationally indexed.
