She carried out several research traineships at the Exercise Research Laboratory, School of Physical Education, University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil, under the supervision of Professor Antônio Carlos Guimarães; at the School of Physical Education at the University of São Paulo, Brazil, under the supervision of Professor Alberto Carlos Amadio; and at the Neuromuscular Research Center, Department of Biology and Physical Activity, University of Jyväslylä, Finland, under the Supervision of Professor Paavo V. Komi, where continued and completed his doctoral studies.
