TechMENI Triumphs at EORS 2024 Conference

The Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry (CBQF) is proud to announce that the project “TechMENI,” developed by the Biomaterials and Biomedical Technology Group, has won the prestigious ON/EORS Orthoregeneration Grant Tank competition at the EORS 2024 Conference held in Aalborg, Denmark, from September 18 to 20, 2024. This significant achievement highlights the hard work and dedication of the entire team at the UCP Biomaterials and Biomedical Technology Lab.

The conference brought together leading researchers and innovators in the field of orthopaedic research, providing a platform for the latest advancements in orthoregeneration. TechMENI was selected as one of three finalists before ultimately clinching the top prize, underscoring the project's potential impact in the field.

A special acknowledgment goes to João Pedro Bebiano Costa, professor ate the Faculty of Biotechnology, Universidade Católica Portuguesa and researcher at the Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry ,whose outstanding presentation was instrumental in securing this victory. The recognition not only showcases the innovative work being conducted by the Biomaterials and Biomedical Technology Group at CBQF but also emphasizes their commitment to advancing orthoregeneration technologies.
