The Faculty of Biotechnology opened its doors to dozens of secondary school students to showcase its degree programmes and the academic environment experienced at the school.
Throughout the morning, participants had the opportunity to explore the School’s four undergraduate programmes: Bioengineering, Nutrition Sciences, Liberal Sciences, and Microbiology; through information sessions, guided lab tours, and informal conversations with faculty members and current students. There was also space to present partnerships, extracurricular opportunities, and innovative teaching approaches.
The event was held in person at the Biotechnology Building of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Porto, on Saturday, 31 May 2025.
