Objectives and competences

  • Identify the main macronutrients, their constitution, food sources and functions in our body;
  • Identify the nutrients used as energy substrate during exercise;
  • Understand the basic concepts of fat mass loss and muscle hipertrophy and the role of nutrition in those processes;
  • Identify the ergogenic supplements with scientific evidence, dosage and timing of supplementation;
  • Understand different nutritional approaches to enhance performance in different sports.

Theoretical classes for the initial approach of the contents and their respective application in practical classes with case-studies
