Tânia Ribas Vaz Pedro has a PhD in Biotechnology and a degree in Microbiology from Escola superior de Biotecnologia of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She is an invited assistant at Escola Superior de Biotecnologia, where she teaches the practical and tutorial components in the subjects of General Chemistry and Instrumental Methods of Analysis.
She is a researcher at Center of Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry, focusing her activity on the development of greener analytical methods. Her interests lie on the development of new automated and miniaturized analytical flow-based methods (flow injection and sequential injection analysis) for environmental contaminants monitoring.
