Bio

Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (1984).

Postgraduate in Tourism and Hospitality Management and Economics from EGP-UPBS (University of Porto Business School) and Master in Business Administration, by IESF.

Career of 30 years in the food industry performing manager of new products, manager of new projects, monitoring and start-up of the industrial unit of the Sociedade Industrial de Aperitivos (SIA) as manufacturing director; founder of the SME responsible for launching the "Avó Matilde" homemade chips accompanied the commercial strategy, development, manufacturing process and Quality. Managing partner of the company (1993-2006).

Consultant and Trainer of SMEs in the food and agriculture sectors.

I was a teacher at the institute IPAM, in the discipline of "New Projects/ New Products" - Marketing course.
