The Open Week is an initiative by the School of Biotechnology that has been held annually since the last century, taking place each spring. This set of activities allows for close interaction with various aspects of science, presented through fun demonstrations and experiments planned by our researchers and professors. It is also a unique opportunity to visit research laboratories and learn about ongoing projects. The topics covered range from microbiology to the environment, from bioengineering to artificial intelligence, and from nutrition to social transformation.

In 2025, the 33rd edition will take place on April 2, 3, and 4, and is available at no cost to secondary schools – all students in science and technology courses are welcome. Registration should preferably be completed by March 10, 2025.

The visits can be organized by school (in which case, the participating institutions should ensure that their students' school insurance covers this visit) or by individuals or families. This is the form for schools to use. Students wishing to participate individually should fill out this form.
