Objectives and competences
Since the vast majority of students will have a background in markedly scientific areas, the objective of this course is not only to provide them with fundamental basic tools in Management but also to address relevant current topics so that they can be in a position to understand better and interpret the environment of Companies/Organizations in which, most probably, they will develop their future professional career, which will allow them to increase the value of their performance in these increasingly complex and interdependent contexts.
Teaching Methodologies
Teaching will be a mix of theory and practice. The theoretical part will always accompany concrete practical examples, and students will be asked to participate actively in class. This will help to avoid long periods of lectures and allow students to share their own experiences and to discuss together and in a guided way the most current topics that will be addressed.
