“Today is World Youth Skills Day, an event created in 2014 by the United Nations (UN) to highlight the need to empower young people and maximize their prospects of entering the workforce. This challenge takes very different forms depending on geography — conditions in the European Union are perhaps at the antipodes of what is found in the Global South and therefore many needs and expectations will necessarily diverge. Will there be some transversal core of common principles and measures to inform the work in these multiple realities to which universities can contribute?(…)”
