On the morning of April 13th, at 9:00 am, the IV Meeting of the Nature is the Best Classroom Community will take place at the Escola Superior de Biotecnologia da Universidade Católica Portuguesa. This is a face-to-face event organized by CRE.Porto with the aim of bringing together members of the NSA Community so they can meet in person, share stories and experiences from their outdoor nature classes, and enjoy pleasant moments together. In addition to socializing, this Meeting will also feature various presentations and practical workshops.

The NSA Community consists of teachers, educators, and technicians from partner municipalities participating in the "Nature is the Best Classroom" (NSA) project. This is a project aimed at providing teachers with the necessary tools to include outdoor classes in their educational program, promoting greater contact with nature and environmental awareness. In the current academic year 2023/2024, the NSA project has the participation of 75 teachers and educators, as well as more than 2200 students from the Porto Metropolitan Area.

"Nature is the Best Classroom" is an educational project promoted by CRE.Porto - Regional Center of Excellence in Education for Sustainable Development of the Porto Metropolitan Area. CRE.Porto is an education-action network for sustainability led by the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) and the Porto Metropolitan Area, in collaboration with the municipalities of the region and the Center for Human Development Research (CEDH) of UCP.
