Every year ESB organises a participatory budget. This means that everyone - students, former students, staff and teachers - can (and should!) propose ideas that will (after some maturing) be put to a vote by the community. The people who make up ESB will be able to think about and choose how ESB will evolve. Each winning project will have up to €2,000 to implement.
Anyone wishing to apply must read the regulation carefully.
To summarise:
- the aim is to help create a better ESB for people, the environment and the future
- anyone from the ESB community (individually or as a group) can submit one or more ideas to the competition
- interested parties submit a first draft of their idea
- then have an additional deadline to submit detailed proposals
- a jury will evaluate these proposals
- the ideas that pass this screening are put to the vote
- the two most voted are implemented by the ESB management in collaboration with their authors
