CALL FOR ONE POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCH GRANT (BIPD)

A call for one post-doctoral research grant (BIPD) is open for the project “ApR-TEC - Technological solutions for guaranteeing the microbiological quality of water for reuse”, nº NORTE-01-0247-FEDER-047207, co-financed, under the terms of Notice 17/SI/2019, by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), through the Northern Regional Operational Program, under the following conditions:

Research grant (BIPD)

The postdoctoral research grant can be awarded only if the following requirements are cumulatively met:
a) Ph.D. degree obtained in the three years prior to the start date of the grant;
b) The post-doctoral research will be carried out in a host entity other than the one in which the research work leading to the award of the Ph.D. degree was carried out;
c) The grant holder does not exceed, with the celebration of the grant contract in question, including possible renewals, an accumulated period of three years in this fellowship type, followed or interpolated.

In addition to the requirements mentioned above, candidates for the research grant must have a PhD in an area of Biological Sciences or related areas, as well as an oral and written command of the English language.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in molecular biology and environmental microbiology
