Claudio A. Franco will present on December 5th, 2022, at 5:30 pm (room EBI021) a lecture entitled "Mechanisms of blood vessel formation in health and disease".

Claudio A. Franco
Graduated in biochemistry but rapidly moved to developmental biology and vascular biology during his PhD. Over the years, his laboratory has explored and acquired competences in a very diverse set of techniques, ranging from mouse genetics, advanced imaging techniques, bioengineering, quantitative analytics, computational modeling and more recently artificial intelligence methods applied to image analysis. His suceccful research brought several fruitful collaborations and prestigious grants or collaborative projects such as ERC StG, ERC PoC, LeDucq Foundation, La Caixa Foundation, EU FETOPEN, EU Twinning, up to 3.5M€.
