Faculty of Biotechnology and the Celeste group create low-fat pastry products

Centre for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry of the Faculty of Biotechnology at the Universidade Católica in Porto and the bakery company Celeste Actual have developed a new line of pastry products, with reduced fat, optimized nutritional profile and where preservatives, flavorings and colorings have been replaced for natural alternatives.

The results of the NutriSafeLab project: Development of innovative, health-promoting solutions for baking and pastry that Jornal Económico made known at the time of its launch are presented this Thursday, June 29, at the Arménio Miranda Auditorium of the Faculty of Biotechnology, in Porto.
