On the past 23rd July Beatriz Zanin Ribeiro Araujo (Brazilian/Portuguese) defended her M.Sc. thesis in the scope of the European M.Sc. BiFTec-FOOD4S. She got the maximum grade (20/20) ever obtained in this Master, as well as in the preceding ones (SEFOTECH.NUT, BiFTec) in UCP-ESB, Portugal. Beatriz developed the research work for her thesis on “Hot-air drying versus microwave drying of apple and ginger pomace: kinetics modelling an effect on quality” in CBQF under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Alcina Bernardo, Prof. Dr. Manuela Pintado and Prof. Dr. Rui M.S.C. Morais. Congratulations Beatriz!
