The Faculty of Biotechnology (ESB) of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa recently welcomed Florin Stănică, Vice-Rector for Internationalisation of the University of Agronomic Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Bucharest (Romania), a partner institution of the Faculty of Biotechnology within the Erasmus Programme.

The main objective of the visit was to present ESB’s facilities, including the building and its laboratories, allowing for direct contact with the scientific and pedagogical activities developed at the Faculty. During his visit to the campus, Florin Stănică also had the opportunity to meet with several ESB faculty members, including Paula Castro, Director of the Faculty of Biotechnology.

This meeting reinforces the international cooperation between the two institutions and is part of the Faculty of Biotechnology’s internationalisation strategy, which focuses on academic mobility, scientific collaboration, and the strengthening of European partnerships, contributing to an increasingly international and integrated education for its students.
